It has been recently identified through the Clare Burra research project that visitors to our region where looking for high level of customer service and experiences. This has led to the development of the program through a grant to partly fund participation.

Delivering a truly memorable visitor experience – one that creates loyal brand advocates and results in repeat sales – is at the heart of great tourism businesses and destinations. In a competitive tourism environment, where short breaks are becoming more common than long holidays and people often choose to ‘holiday at home’ the ability for regions and operators to attract and retain visitors has never been more challenging.

This dynamic, interactive and engaging workshop program has been designed to equip cellar door, tourism and hospitality staff and managers with the skills and tools to create memorable visitor experiences. Delivered in three parts, the workshops will take participants through the essential elements of service excellence, effective selling techniques and developing experiences for visitors.
