Advanced Personnel Management

As a Aged Care Assessor, you will play a vital role in improving the quality of life for older Australians by conducting in-person assessments and connecting them with essential services.

You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team and benefit from a comprehensive induction training program designed to set you up for success.

What Will Make You Successful:

You are committed to treating older adults with dignity and respect, understanding the impacts of ageism, and have a minimum of 1 year of experience in aged care, including conducting client assessments and/or service delivery in a community or health-related position.

You possess excellent written and oral communication skills, demonstrate proactive problem-solving and self-motivation, and have experience in providing exemplary customer service.

High computer literacy and the ability to navigate online systems are crucial, as is a focus on efficient service delivery within a team environment.

Requirements

  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year of experience in aged care, including conducting client assessments and/or service delivery in a community or health-related position.
  • Educational Background: Tertiary education in a health-related discipline (e.g., registered nurses, medical officers, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, social workers).
  • Professional Registration: Current unrestricted General Registration with AHPRA or relevant professional association.
  • Technical Skills: Intermediate skills in Word, Excel, Outlook, and client management systems.
  • Driver’s Licence: Current Australian driver’s licence, comprehensively insured vehicle, and the ability to travel within your service area.
