EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST
Clare & Gilbert Valleys Council is seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified members of the public for two (2) Independent Member positions on Council’s Audit & Risk Committee, for a term commencing 1 July 2025, and expiring 30 June 2029.
The role and functions of the Audit & Risk Committee are prescribed by Section 126 of the Local Government Act 1999, and guided by Council’s Terms of Reference.
Interested persons should possess functional knowledge and experience in areas such as governance, risk management, internal and external auditing, financial management, and management control frameworks. Understanding of the local government sector would also be an advantage.
