Experienced: Fabric Belt Splicers
Location: Port Pirie, SA
Roster: 2/2 (2 weeks on, 2 weeks off)

SEC-BG is seeking experienced Fabric Belt Splicers to join our team for an exciting opportunity to work on-site in Port Pirie. If you have a strong background in belt splicing and are looking for a challenging and rewarding role, we would love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:
• Perform fabric belt splicing, including installation, repair, and maintenance of conveyor belts
• Ensure the optimal operation of conveyor systems and fixed plant machinery
• Work safely and efficiently to maintain high standards of safety and quality
• Follow detailed procedures and guidelines to ensure proper splicing techniques
• Manage and oversee site sales, ensuring the growth and development of business opportunities
• Supervise and mentor junior staff (Level 3 Belt Splicer / Supervisor role available)
• Maintain high-quality safety standards and follow all safety protocols on site
• Collaborate with team members to meet project timelines and maintain equipment uptime
• Complete inspections, reports, and QA/QC documentation as required
• Identify opportunities for improvement in conveyor systems and equipment, assisting in the design and modification of system

Essential Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Fabric Belt Splicer, with a strong knowledge of belt splicing techniques
• Ability to follow strict safety procedures and maintain a high standard of safety awareness
• Experience in managing site sales and identifying opportunities for growth
• Ability to work within a team environment and maintain professional relationships
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Desirable Experience (Additional Bonuses):
• Supervisor experience, with a Level 3 Belt Splicer / Supervisor role available for qualified candidates
• Previous site knowledge and experience working in a similar environment
• Understanding of safety and well-being protocols on-site
• Ability to manage teams and enhance site productivity
