In this pivotal role, you will provide expert advisory and service delivery leadership, guiding the implementation of complex changes and delivering high-level advice to the YNLHN executive. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and managing a diverse team across key operational areas, including Assets and Infrastructure, Facility Management,
  • Patient Administration Services, Cleaning and Orderlies, Catering, and Emergency Management.
  • Spearheading disaster resilience design, conduct, and management efforts.
  • Conducting detailed analyses to support strategic decision-making and ensuring the efficient delivery of services.

About You

  • High-level communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage effectively with diverse audiences on complex issues.
  • Proven ability to lead strategically, manage performance, and prioritise tasks to meet demanding deadlines in dynamic environments.
  • Strong leadership and negotiation skills, with expertise in financial management, problem-solving, and initiating successful change management processes.

Experience and Knowledge:

  • Extensive leadership experience in complex, multi-disciplinary organisations and major capital projects, with a solid understanding of State Government governance and project management principles.
  • Proven expertise in managing change initiatives, contractual negotiations, financial reporting, and navigating socio-economic factors impacting human services.
  • In-depth knowledge of contemporary emergency management practices, personnel management standards, and regulatory requirements, including Equal Opportunity and Work Health and Safety.
