About the role

As part of this role, you will be scheduled for a variety of shifts, including weekdays and evenings, across a 7-day roster. You will be involved in group activities which aim to support participants of all ages in various areas such as daily living skills, skill development, and community volunteering.

Candidates must demonstrate respect, empathy, passion and integrity through their work, reflecting our commitment to the same.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate group sessions and activities for participants.
  • Utilise excellent administration skills to ensure the smooth running of program sessions and maintain accurate records.
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of compliance and risk assessment in order to prioritise participant safety and program integrity.
  • Build connections and foster positive relationships with program participants, exhibiting a high energy and effervescent personality.
  • Take a solutions-focused approach to adapt to program changes, understand the needs of the participants, and deliver engaging and meaningful experiences.
  • Communicate effectively with participants, employers, and businesses to create off-site experiential sessions that align with program requirements.
  • Create and adhere to program sessions that align with the specified requirements and objectives of individual programs.
  • Display a high level of adaptability to respond to program changes at short notice and ensure the continued success of the program.

Skills and Experience required

  • Able to work with our participants on developed plans that meet individual goals and support behavioural, physical and social needs.
  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Positive and solution-focused.

Qualifications/requirements

  • Cert III Individual Support (Disability) equivalent or higher is desirable (those currently enrolled are encouraged to apply).
  • Full COVID Vaccination.
  • Drivers Licence.

We will arrange and pay for the following:

  • NDIS Clearance.
  • Driver History Check.
  • First Aid Certificate including CPR.
  • Support with Medication training.
