Job Title: Poultry Farmhand

Job Type: Casual $29 – $32    (  35-38 hrs. p/w )

 

 

About the Role:

We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Poultry Farmhand to join our team at our farm in Port Wakefield. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working outdoors, has a strong work ethic, and is comfortable around animals.

 

Key Responsibilities:

•     Daily care and handling of poultry

•     Feeding, watering, and monitoring bird health

•     Operate and maintain plant and machinery including tractors

•     Cleaning and maintaining sheds and equipment

•     General repairs and maintenance

•     Following strict biosecurity and animal welfare protocols

·       WHS compliance

 

 

About You:

•   Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced environment

•   Comfortable working early mornings, weekends, and public holidays (rostered)

•   Previous experience in poultry or livestock farming is preferred but not essential – training will be provided

•   Able to work both independently and as part of a team

•   Must have reliable transport to Port Wakefield
