About the role
As the Hotel Manager at Wilmington Hotel, you will be responsible for the overall management and smooth operation of our hotel located in Wilmington, SA 5485. This is a full-time position where you will oversee all aspects of the hotel’s day-to-day operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and driving the business towards its strategic goals.
What you’ll be doing
- Manage and oversee all hotel operations, including front desk, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance
- Develop and implement effective strategies to maximise occupancy, revenue, and profitability
- Lead, motivate and develop a high-performing team of hotel staff
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and brand standards
- Manage the hotel’s budget and financial performance
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and guest satisfaction
- Foster strong relationships with guests, suppliers, and the local community
- Monitor and respond to guest feedback, addressing any concerns in a timely and professional manner
What we’re looking for
- Minimum 3 years of proven experience in a hotel management role
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
- Excellent customer service orientation and the ability to deliver exceptional guest experiences
- Sound financial management skills and the ability to analyse and interpret data to drive business decisions
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Proficiency in using hotel management software and technology
- Thorough understanding of the hospitality industry, including trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements
