About the opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for an ICT Support Officer to join the ICT team at Catholic Education South Australia (CESA). You’ll be working with a variety of technology and helping to provide on-site support to multiple schools. The technology you will work with is diverse, making this a dynamic role with the opportunity to develop your skills.

This position is based around Port Pirie/Mid North region, supporting the surrounding schools.

Your Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site support and service to staff and students across multiple schools.
  • Ensure all assigned support requests are promptly resolved (Level 1 and 2 support).
  • Provide incident response and incident diagnostic and resolution support for users and incidents raised.
  • Deploy, configure, upgrade and support devices including but not limited to desktops, laptops, tablets and peripherals.
  • Install, configure, upgrade and support services including, but not limited to, operating software (MacOS, iOS and Windows), applications and systems (including Microsoft 365).

About you

You’ll be a great fit within the ICT Support Officer role if you have a customer centric approach, alongside excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

You’ll need:

  • ICT experience in similar role, with exposure to a broad range of technologies
  • Experience with and sound knowledge of general operating systems and software’s (Apple and Microsoft technologies).
  • Expertise in problem solving and troubleshooting
  • A strong ability to communicate with a diverse range of individuals
  • Record of delivering quality service to users
  • Relevant qualifications and industry certifications will be advantageous
  • A current driver’s licence
