As we continue to expand, we are excited to offer an opportunity for an experienced Machine Operator to join our team at our facility, located just outside Two Wells in Korunye. This is a chance to contribute to an environmentally conscious business, supporting both the company and its valued customers, while being part of a close-knit, supportive team.

About the Role

This full-time position offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic and collaborative team, directly reporting to the Facility Manager.

 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Operating Excavators and Loaders
  • Loading and feeding trucks
  • Processing and screening of material on site
  • Loading materials onto vehicles
  • Ensuring the safe and efficient operation of plant and equipment
  • Maintaining and caring for plant and equipment
  • Facilitating the smooth flow of recyclables for processing

 

What do I need to be considered for this role? 

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience operating Excavators, Loaders, or other plant machinery
  • Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures relevant to the role
  • Valid LL and LE (Excavator & Front-End Loader) tickets
  • White card is essential
  • HC licence is desirable
  • Ability to work independently while being a collaborative and valued team member
  • Demonstrate a strong sense of urgency, reliability, and punctuality
  • Willingness to work with flexibility and adaptability
  • A hard-working approach with high energy levels
  • Previous experience in the organics industry is preferred
  • Willingness to undergo a full pre-employment medical examination with a drug & alcohol screening
