What you’ll be doing
Reporting to the O&M Manager you will be supporting the South Australian wind Asset Site Supervisors by assisting with the management, coordination and oversight of planned and unplanned maintenance activities ensuring the right work, at the right time and right price, safely.
In addition, the Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for:
- Coordinating work during execution and planning phase with the relevant teams
- Operate within the CMMS as per business process rules and expectations including relevant standards, policies and guidelines
- Provide the linkage between operations, maintenance, planning and scheduling
- Lead development of service and repair schedules with support of maintenance planners
- Manage Contractors when operating on site including management of the contractor management system
- Perform site-based audits on employees and contractors to ensure work is conducted to an appropriate standard and in a safe manner as required
- Promote the effective use of the permit system, drive innovation and optimization of planning and execution of maintenance.
- Work with site staff to continuously improve the plans, procedures, and safety documentation
- Coordinate OEM (Vestas, Suzlon) tickets/requests through correct channels
About You

What you’ll bring to the table
- Diploma or trade qualification in a relevant electrical or mechanical discipline. Wind Turbine, operator/maintainer certificates of competency or equivalent would be highly regarded.
- A high level of achievement in and demonstrated commitment to, safety management and environmental compliance.
- Demonstrated expertise in use of maintenance and operating systems, HSE, procedures, policies and quality assurance processes.
- Demonstrated risk management experience including hazard identification, risk assessment and mitigation/preventative control awareness
- Demonstrated ability to generate enthusiasm among team members and encourage effective team interaction including the acknowledgement and appreciation of each team member’s contributions
- A good level of experience and knowledge relating to scheduling of maintenance work in heavy industry
- Demonstrated knowledge with computer maintenance management system (CMMS), like SAP
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must hold and be able to maintain a South Australian driver license.
