About the role

Are you a results-driven hands-on leader with a passion for operational excellence? Viterra is looking for an Operations Coordinator to lead a group of work sites in our central region in South Australia. As an integral part of our supply chain, you will plan and coordinate all operational activities across the sites, while promoting a focus on safety, continuous improvement, and meeting customer needs.

Duties include

  • Plan and coordinate operational activities to achieve high levels of quality, safety, efficiency and customer service.
  • Responsible for maximising use of operational labour and performing workforce planning.
  • Schedule and facilitate regular planning, review and operational meetings with staff and teams.
  • Build effective work relationships with stakeholders.
  • Ensure implementation of the systems for policies, procedures, work instructions, standards, and legislation.
  • Develop and implement solutions and strategies to improve operational productivity.
  • Provide accurate and timely reporting as required.
  • Ensure a cohesive, consistent, and compliant approach to all aspects of operations.
  • There will be a requirement to travel frequently between the sites.

 

About you

  • 3-5 years supervisory experience in an operational environment
  • Excellent leadership and communication abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and effective problem-solving abilities
  • Sound understanding and a commitment to OH&S regulations
