About the role:
Permanent Part-time approximately 50 hours per fortnight.
We are looking for a warm, compassionate individual who can connect with others and bring joy to their day.
In this role, you’ll care for the emotional, social, and physical needs of our House Members. Working as part of a close-knit team, you’ll help create a true home environment where House Members feel comfortable, valued, and supported.
Who you’ll be working with:
Reports to House Leader
Key Stakeholders: Team Leaders / Registered Nurses, Hotel Services Staff
Responsibilities of the role:
Supporting House Members – a major part of your role will be to actively involve your House Members in everyday domestic living in a relaxed unfolding minute by minute manner. The normal ‘jobs’ of the day are to ensure personal hygiene is attended, that environments are clean and pleasant to be in and are completed at a time that suits the people living here.
Any other duties commensurate with the employee’s skills and experience as directed by the House Leader.
About you:
Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or related, or willingness to start it within 6 months. Barunga Village can support you in gaining this qualification
