Access4u is looking for an experienced Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner / Therapist to join our growing Yorke Peninsula team, based from our Kadina office! Full time or Part Time negotiable.

The role:
We are currently seeking an experienced, highly motivated Behavioural Support Practitioner to join our team!
At Access4u, we work closely with clients, their families and support networks, to develop:
- functional behaviour assessments & behaviour support plans
- tailored strategies to assist customers to meet their goal
- supports and training to other staff to assist customers improvement of quality of life.
Skills and Experience:
- Prior experience as a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner / Therapist is a must.
- Pre-existing registration as a Positive Behaviour Support Practitioner with the NDIS Commissioner
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Developmental Education, Psychology, Social work, Occupational Therapy, Disability or Social Sciences.
- An understanding of the principles and applications of Positive Behaviour Support, and the accompanying policies and legislation, including Restrictive Practices.
- The ability to communicate effectively across a range of stakeholders; from the families we work with, to a variety of other service providers.
- Demonstrated experience working with people within the disability sector.

- Willing to travel from time to time across the Yorke Peninsula, Port Pirie and Mid North.
