About the role
As a Technical Officer (TGO1/TGO2), you will contribute to delivering high-quality, multi-disciplinary pathology services in a regional laboratory. Your role will vary depending on experience, allowing for progressive responsibilities and the application of technical knowledge and skills in supporting research, operations, and project programs.
At the TGO1 level, you will focus on applying standardised practices and procedures, participating in technical projects, and collaborating with the team to ensure efficient service delivery.
At the TGO2 level, you will take on more advanced responsibilities, including leading minor technical projects, applying technical judgment, and supervising team activities. Additionally, you will provide detailed reports and recommendations to enhance the suitability of equipment, procedures, and processes.

Essential Requirements:
- Current National Police Clearance (NPC)
- Working With Children Check (DHS)
- Immunisation screening as indicated in the role description. SA Health Services are required to implement the Addressing vaccine preventable disease: Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination policy in the workplace.
Educational/Vocational Qualifications:
- Diploma or Advanced Diploma in an approved and recognised qualification
