About the role

We are seeking an experienced Receptionist to join the team at the Catholic Diocese of Port Pirie. This is a part-time role based in Port Pirie, SA 5540. As the friendly face of our organisation, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to our staff and visitors.

What you’ll be doing

  • Greeting and welcoming visitors and clients in a professional and courteous manner
  • Answering and directing incoming phone calls
  • Managing the reception area and ensuring it is well-presented and organised
  • Providing general administrative support, including filing, photocopying, and data entry
  • Assisting with event coordination and meeting room bookings
  • Performing other ad-hoc duties as required

  • Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail
  • Proficient in using standard office equipment and software
  • A friendly, professional and customer-focused approach
