Based in our Clare Residential Care Home, as our highly valued Residential Care Worker, your ability to deliver excellent personal care services to our residents will contribute to making a positive impact in their lives. We currently have openings for both morning and afternoon shifts, and we are seeking candidates to fill these positions.
You’ll also make an impact by:
- Ensuring the personal care delivered is based on the care plan
- Supporting the residents to live a life of choice and independence
- Contributing to the care plan development with your views and observations about the client.
What you’ll bring
To succeed in this role, you will have:
- A Certificate III in Aged Care or studying towards a nursing qualification and have completed the placement stages
- Good communication skills, including the ability to speak and write clearly and accurately
- A minimum of 1-2 years experience as a care worker (ideally in an aged care setting)
- A valid NDIS Worker Screening clearance or be willing to obtain one
You’ll stand out from the crowd if you have some of the following:
- Previous experience in the aged care sector
- The ability to work as part of a team
- Demonstrated ability to make decisions, take initiative and work independently
- Current First Aid certificate
