AHP Healthcare is Seeking an experienced Service Manager or Facilities Manager for one of our leading aged care clients in South Australia!
The Opportunity:
- As the Residential Services Manager, you will lead the delivery of person-centred care and be accountable for the overall quality, financial, and operational performance of the facility. This role is responsible for ensuring the development and delivery of high-quality services that meet the Aged Care Quality Standards. You’ll provide effective management and leadership, helping to build a strong team culture while continuously improving resident outcomes.
What You’ll Do:
- Ensure the provision of high-quality resident services, aligning with the organisation’s mission and principles of care, and optimise residents’ quality of life, choice, and independence
- Lead the ongoing evaluation and improvement of service provision, systems, and processes to deliver resident-focused outcomes
- Provide strong leadership to direct reports and the wider workforce, including performance management, succession planning, and team development
- Establish a positive workforce culture based on organisational values, focusing on achieving optimal consumer outcomes
What You’ll Bring:
To thrive in this role, you will have:
- Formal qualifications in health, aged care, or a management-related discipline, or equivalent business experience
- Extensive experience in delivering person-centred services in a health or aged care setting
- Proven leadership and management experience in a complex environment, with the ability to build and develop strong operational teams
- High-level communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage with all levels of staff, clients, and stakeholders
- Experience leading teams through change
- Demonstrated ability to achieve financial outcomes, including budgeting, financial analysis, and income maximisation
- Experience in managing compliance, quality, and risk within the aged or health care sectors
- A valid NDIS Worker Screening clearance, or willingness to obtain one
