About the role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Residential Services Manager on a permanent full-time basis to lead a team in providing the best care for the residents in Port Pirie.

Your role will be to oversee the development and delivery of high-quality, person-centred care in line with the Aged Care Quality Standards, ensuring effective leadership and management of the workforce, financial and other resources.

Key responsibilities include:

· Provide overall leadership and management of the aged care facility

· Ensure consistent high-quality person-centred care is provided to the highest standard

· Ensure the aged care facility is compliant with accreditation standards

· Maintain a continuous improvement approach

· Lead the identification & management of risks

· Ensure compliance with legislative requirements

· Contribute to a positive team culture and foster positive working relationships

· Provide leadership, coaching and development to a multi-disciplinary team

· Implement change to achieve desired outcomes

To be successful in the role you will have:

· Bachelor of Nursing and current AHPRA registration desirable

· Formal qualifications in health, aged care, or a related management discipline, or equivalent business experience.

· A valid NDIS clearance or willing to obtain

· Flu vaccination and Covid vaccinations

· Demonstrated experience in a similar role

· Experience leading a multi-disciplinary team

· Knowledge of government regulations, statutes, and acts

· Strong written and verbal communication skills
