The Senior NDIS Program Officer will play a key role in developing, implementing and conducting NDIS activities in the Port Pirie area.

 

Employment type: Full time, permanent

Hours of work: 76 hours per fortnight

About the Role:

  • Deliver services designed to maintain and develop employment skills, pre-vocational skills or recreational and community development skills to improve quality of life
  • Contribute to program design, coordination and review
  • Participate in meetings with client’s families, advocates and other service providers where necessary
  • Monitor programs and complete necessary NDIS documentation including service agreements and input / maintaining Supportability
  • Develop the organisation’s capacity and capability in promoting and delivering NDIS support to current and potential future participants
  • Assist with providing training, information and communication to casual staff in relation to NDIS activities and their clients
  • Market clients to employers for potential work and for work experience placements
  • Assist with new business development and promoting Beyond programs with internal and external customers, community groups, educational institutions and prospective participants
  • Meet required targets as set out in the KPI’s document
  • Meet outcomes within budget and on time
  • Assist with participant transition to DES
  • Assist and provide direction and supervison to team members while delivering program activities
  • Assist the NDIS Coordinator with HR procedures: shortlisting, ref checks, sit on interview panels
  • Guide the development of communication and marketing resources relating to CBS Inc. NDIS activities

 

Position Requirements:

  • Current Australian Driver’s Licence (essential) P2 Minimum
  • Meet the most current COVID-19 Vaccine requirement – medical exemption also acceptable (or willingness to obtain)
  • Relevant NDIS / DHS checks and clearances in accordance with the role requirements (or willingness to obtain)
  • Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
  • Manual Handling Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
  • Child Safe Environments – Through Their Eyes Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
  • Willingness to drive multi-seated van
