The Coopers Alehouse Hotel in Wallaroo South Australia is looking for a skilled Sous Chef – We are under new ownership and looking for a Sous Chef with restaurant or quality pub experience to join our kitchen team.

We are looking for a Chef who can consistently produce high quality meals in a fast paced, busy kitchen environment. An understanding of safe food handing and personal hygiene is an essential part of this role, and you must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to
- Running a busy kitchen service
- Preparing for service, ensuring the kitchen is well stocked
- Maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen
- Ensuring all dishes that leave the kitchen meet the Executive Chef’s standards
- Training Junior Chef’s
- Compliance with health and safety codes
