Your new role awaits…

As Store Manager, the purpose of your role is to lead your store team, provide quality customer service, run an efficient store and deliver the EB Experience. As you are responsible for the day-to-day running of the store you will need to ensure that there are processes and standards in place for merchandising, inventory, financial and people management. Working closely with and developing the staff at the store, your goal is to build and maintain a strong team that supports the successful operation of the store.

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Providing the best customer service to all customers
  • Managing the day-to-day store operations
  • Maintaining the store’s appearance and organisation to a high standard
  • Inventory control and loss prevention for incoming, outgoing and current stock
  • Maximising the store’s profitability using KPI and sales data
  • Coaching and training teams for success and progression
  • Embracing and upholding our Ethos values of Family, Integrity, Vitality, Vision, Accountability, Recognition, and Sustainability.

The role is full time and does require flexible availability across public holidays, nights and weekends.

 

What are we looking for?

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • At least 2 years of team management experience
  • Experience coaching and developing staff to hit sales targets and KPIs, including regular feedback and goal setting.
  • Advocacy for EB Games and Zing Pop Culture products, loyalty programs, and trade programs.
  • Effective communication with customers, staff, and vendors, including handling difficult conversations and building positive relationships.
  • Skilled in analysing sales data, inventory reports, and customer feedback to identify and address issues.
