About The Role
As Regional Coordinator, you will be responsible for generating, nurturing, and converting leads through your relationship management skills in building a strong network of both referral groups and customers. You will be based at our Kadina office.
You will maintain a case load of Support Coordination participants and will be responsible for assisting NDIS participants with complex needs to build personal capacity to make decisions and choices about the implementation of all supports in their NDIS plan. The role also focuses on assisting the participant to connect with NDIS and other supports, negotiate solutions with multiple stakeholders and build capacity and resilience.
Your key responsibilities will vary but include:
- Networking and meeting with those in the disability, aged care and healthcare sectors including NDIS Support Coordinators and Local Area Coordinators, hospital discharge planners, and other referral sources in order to identify new customers and service offerings.
- Generating and converting leads through planned sales and marketing initiatives, as well as building and maintaining strong local community referral networks.
- Hands-on of sales, marketing, communications, collateral and event related initiatives for the business.
- Manage initial assessment, intake, and onboarding of new participants.
- Providing advice and information to potential customers, carers, parents, and families on a range of services.
- Relationship management of external stakeholders to foster ongoing positive working relationships.
- Work collaboratively with all teams and external stakeholders to facilitate the seamless transition from intake to service delivery of highly complex, tailored individual support services.
- Preparation of monthly reports for senior management.
- Clear and accurate record keeping of information.
- Commitment to work within the vision and mission of Access4u.
- Reviewing participants’ NDIS plans and ensure appropriate supports and services are implemented.
- Building capacity for participants who are experiencing multiple complex barriers and assist them towards achieving their planned goals.
- Coordinating supports for participants and liaising extensively with NDIA planners and a range of allied health and community-based services.
- Enhancing participants’ capacity to coordinate their own supports, including provision of information, referrals and engaging with informal/personal support networks and community-based support options.
- Responding to enquiries from participants in a timely manner.
- Preparing and/or collecting and submitting reports as required for NDIS meetings or providers.
Skills & Experience
The ideal candidate will have:
- Extensive customer service experience
- Business development experience
- Well-developed computer literacy, organisation, administration and communication skills
- Experience as a Support Coordinator or Specialist Support Coordinator is essential (Support Worker experience is not equivalent).
- Experience in working with people within the disability sector.
- A relevant tertiary qualification is highly desirable.
- Detailed working knowledge of the NDIS.
- Experience in the delivery of case management and coordination of client services.
- Ability to interpret a NDIS plan and recommend service options within the guidelines of the plan and budget.
- A current full driver’s licence and vehicle (essential)
