Tourism businesses across the region have been recognised in the 2023 South Australian Tourism Awards with Gold, Silver and Bronze medals, one from Southern Flinders Ranges, three from Yorke Peninsula and three from Clare Valley.

Copper Trails Bike Hire took home the Gold in the Tourism Retail, Hire & Services category. Further Silver medals went to Minlaton Caravan Park in Caravan & Holiday Parks, and Brindabella Sailing for New Tourism Business.

Burra & Goyder Visitor Information Centre received Silver for Visitor Information Services, Bukirk Glamping & Fancy Coops was awarded Silver for Unique Accommodation, and Watervale Hotel took home the Bronze in Tourism Restaurants & Catering Services.

Bendleby Ranges in the Southern Flinders Ranges have been inducted into the South Australian Tourism Award Hall of Fame for winning gold in Adventure Tourism for the third year in a row and Pichi Richi Railway have been awarded Silver in Tourist Attractions.
