Communications Officer
6 Month 0.4 FTE Fixed Term Contract – Maternity Leave
Regional Development Australia Yorke and Mid North are seeking a Communications Officer for a 6 month 0.4 FTE fixed-term maternity leave contract, with the possibility of extension to 12 months. This is an opportunity to create engaging content, strengthen organisational visibility and support stakeholder engagement across the region.
The role
You will lead the development and delivery of communications across external channels, create content that connects with diverse audiences, and help strengthen the organisation’s profile across the region.
Key duties
- Develop and deliver strategic communications content across external channels.
- Identify opportunities, manage risks and respond to emerging issues.
- Create tailored content for diverse audiences and stakeholder groups.
- Evaluate communications activity and support continuous improvement.
- Coordinate case studies and testimonials for digital platforms.
About you
- Strong communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
- A proactive, can-do approach and ability to work independently.
- High-level computer literacy, including design and communications tools.
- Demonstrated experience in a communications role.
- Qualifications in marketing, communications or business are desirable.
