Empowering Leaders, Inspiring change
For people with previous experience and current roles in leadership who want to enhance their skills to successfully bring about change within organisations for future success.
This stream will be delivered as four leadership development workshops facilitated by Coo-ee Collective, delivered across three intakes across the Yorke and Mid North.
Workshops
1. Leading change in teams
- Leadership and governance 101
- How to manage change effectively while staying aligned to the organisations purpose
- The challenge of leading teams through change.
- Manage competing needs and expectations.
2. Managing organisational change
- Factors Driving change within organisations
- Assist the team with compliance
- Understand the need and process to merge or close organisations.
- How to use technology to embrace change
3. Planning for the future
- Develop a strategic plan
- How to develop business and operational plan
- Plan for succession
4. Why communication is key?
- How to create powerful conversations
- The different community styles and approaches
- Understand our teams and our own emotions to excel
- How to be a coach and mentor

Southern Flinders Ranges (version 2)
Crystal Brook – 9am to 4.30pm
A second version of the original Empowering Leaders course will be held in the Southern Flinders Ranges in July, August and September.
The first workshop will cover the following:
Leading Positive Change
- Understanding change models and impacts
- Developing traits ready for change
- Understand how to leading positive change while staying aligned to the organisations purpose.
- Understand the need and process to merge or close organisations.
The second and third workshop will cover planning for the future and why communication is key respectively as listed above.

Course Eligibility:
- Over 18 years of age
- Reside in the Yorke and Mid North (YMN) region
- Able to commit to four full day sessions
- Currently involved or aim to be involved in a local community group
- Currently or aim to join an executive team.
- Aim to bring about organisational change
Cost
The program is $100 per participant. Version 2 of Southern Flinders Ranges Empowering Leaders is only $65.
Participants have the option to be sponsored by a community organisation or club.
