The ASCP offers funding through two streams:

Targeted stream (inactive youth):

Applicants applying for the targeted stream must demonstrate that the primary beneficiaries of the application are youth aged 12 to 15. Eligible projects may also have secondary beneficiaries that are outside of this cohort.

Open stream (strategic)

The open stream (strategic) is designed to support projects that align with the broader objectives of the ORSR Strategic Plan, focused on getting more South Australians moving.

This stream encourages innovative and inclusive approaches that inspire participation across all age groups, activity levels, and community settings, reflecting the diverse needs of South Australians.

The total budget for the 2024–2025 ASCP is $2,380,000. $1,850,000 will be allocated to the targeted stream (inactive youth) and $530,000 allocated to the open stream (strategic).

The Office for Recreation, Sport and Racing (ORSR) is available to assist with any queries you may have when completing your submission. Please email OR*********@sa.au if you have any questions.
