HIMS Intake 3 Induction Day
Induction Day was held on Monday for the third intake of our Heavy Industry and Multi-Skills (HIMS) program. This intake will guide 13 participants through 12 weeks of accredited heavy industry training and other non-accredited work-ready skills with hopes of leading the participants into the workforce after completion.
HIMS Graduation
15 students in the HIMS program celebrated their graduation event in Port Pirie last Thursday. HIMS Mock Interviews
Our Heavy Industry students recently completed mock interviews as they approach the successful completion of their training. A huge thank you to local supporting businesses (McMahons, Zancott Recruitment, Hazell Bros Group, Nyrstar and DM Roads) who generously volunteered their time to come in and meet with our students and provided valuable insights into the recruitment process.
HIMS Update
Our current intake of Heavy Industry students have spent the last few weeks completing their white card, working at heights, confined spaces and forklift accreditations. This hardworking group are due to graduate from the program in May after which they will be looking to move into the workforce.
