About the role:

Provide efficient and comprehensive administrative and roster support services in accordance with Barunga Village quality assurance standards.

 

Responsibilities of the role:

Assisting administration and finance team with general duties as required including:

  • Rostering: Prepare timely and accurate standard delivery rosters and communicate effectively to the stakeholders.
  • Ensure that the day-to-day roster is covered in a timely manner, including managing short-notice shift fill and variation of roster.
  • Reception and switchboard service
  • Ordering and maintaining office supplies and equipment
  • Coordination of mail outs and associated services
  • Maintaining electronic and manual filing system

Any other duties commensurate with the employee’s skills and experience as directed by the Administration and Finance Manager.

 

About you:

  • No formal qualifications required. Certificate III in Business Services is a plus.
  • Experience in administrative and rostering support services, much better if in aged care.
  • Proficient with computer use.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Proficient time management. Ability to prioritise.
  • A genuine empathy with the elderly.
  • Ability to work well in a team, use initiative and follow instructions as provided.
