Overview

We’re now accepting applications for our Administration Officer 2024/2025 Casual Pool with Orroroo Hospital and Orroroo Community Home.  Our Administration Officers provide high quality, timely, confidential, customer focused administrative service to clients, staff, and visitors.

Key responsibilities are:

  • Managing the hospital switchboard and reception area
  • creating, storing, retaining and disposing of resident records and contribute to the efficient resident management system
  • Maintaining accurate data entry into the patient management system
  • Developing and maintaining spreadsheets and Microsoft Office documents
  • Proficient taking and typing of meeting minutes and agendas
  • Coordinating appointments and managing correspondence and bookings
  • Performing general administrative duties

Please note:  Successful applicants may have the opportunity to work across multiple sites:- Orroroo, Jamestown and Peterborough (when required).

Essential Criteria

  • Sound data entry skills and proficiency in computer software packages

  • Bright and friendly demeanour with the willingness to assist with all customer and client enquiries.
