Clare & Gilbert Valleys Council

Clare and Gilbert Valleys Council is a regional council less than two hours from Adelaide city, working with and for the community. We are seeking a qualified and experienced Asset and GIS Officer to join our dynamic Works and Infrastructure team.

 

Reporting directly to the Director of Works and Infrastructure, this position is responsible for Council’s Asset Management/GIS systems and processes, overseeing a significant and diverse asset portfolio to ensure accurate information is available to Council to enable effective and efficient decision making.

 

The successful candidate will provide technical support and asset management expertise on significant upgrade and renewal projects including roads, stormwater, bridges, footpaths and CWMS.

This role is a 24 month fixed term contract with potential to extend. An attractive employment package will be offered to the successful candidate based on qualifications and prior relevant experience. Some working from home hours negotiable.
