Position: eBOP Specialist – Wind Operations (SA)
Location: South Australia (Wind Farm Sites)
Work Type: Full Time | Permanent

Join AGL and help shape Australia’s energy future. As an eBOP Specialist, you’ll lead the safe operation and maintenance of electrical infrastructure across AGL’s South Australian wind farms. You’ll support outage planning, lead HV switching, and mentor onsite hybrid technicians to ensure the continued performance of our renewable assets.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Plan and execute annual maintenance, inspections, and repairs on wind farm electrical infrastructure.
  • Provide field leadership and training to site technicians, ensuring safety and skill development.
  • Lead HV switching operations and prepare key documentation such as PTWs, isolation procedures, and LOTO.
  • Supervise electrical contractors on-site to ensure safe, high-quality work.
  • Liaise with network providers to coordinate switching and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Support outage coordination, contribute to SAP work management, and uphold AGL’s HSE standards.

What we’re looking for:

  • Qualified electrician with HV certification.
  • Strong background in substation and reactive plant maintenance.
  • Experience in wind energy, power generation, or similar industries.
  • Skilled in outage planning, LOTO, and switching procedure execution.
  • Confident leader and communicator who can mentor others and work both independently and in a team.
  • Desirable: GWO training, working at heights, first aid, and other safety certifications.
