Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Mental Health Nurse Consultant to join our Community Mental Health Team on the Yorke Peninsula.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of individuals facing mental health challenges. As a key member of our team, you will provide clinical nursing expertise and support the delivery of high-quality, safe mental health services across various settings, including community, acute, and rehabilitation services.  Key responsibilities:

  • Enhance mental health services through clinical expertise, ensuring compassionate care
  • Provide assessments, interventions, and consultancy for mental health consumers’ recovery
  • Deliver health education, counseling, and rehabilitation programs for individuals and groups
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create tailored care plans and engage in continuous professional development.
Eligibility

Applicants must be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate with at least 3 years post registration experience in Mental Health and holds a Graduate Diploma in Mental Health Nursing or equivalent.
