Overview
We are now accepting applications for casual Patient Services Clerks to join our dedicated Patient Services team to provide a high quality, confidential, customer focused administrative service to clients, staff and visitors for Port Pirie Regional Health Service.
As a Patient Services Clerk, you will be responsible for providing registration of inpatient, outpatient and emergency activity, providing an accurate and timey data processing of patient data. You will be required to provide switchboard service to the health unit and Community Health.
About You
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, allowing you to effectively interact with patients, staff, and external stakeholders.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Proficiency in computer operations, including word processing and office administration tasks, with a keen eye for detail in data entry.
- Adherence to strict confidentiality protocols, maintaining the highest standards of privacy and security in healthcare settings.

This vacancy is for multiple casual positions, working hours per fortnight and salary will be adjusted according to actual hours worked on a casual shift by shift basis. Applicants are encouraged to discuss the flexible working arrangements for this role.
