Our Aged Care Facility is seeking a Full-time Receptionist

About the role

We are seeking a Full-time Receptionist to join our dynamic Administration Team. The applicant will be required to have exceptional customer service skills.  The receptionist will manage the day to day administrative tasks including communicating with consumers and visitors, main switchboard operation, electronic correspondence, filing, typing minutes and distributing mail. The position will be supporting and providing an outstanding service to consumers and visitors. The Receptionist will also provide support for Management and the Administration Department.

If you have attention to detail and have a well organised approach to your work, this may be the role for you.

Previous experience in a receptionist position is essential.

This role is fast paced and busy.

The position is 37.5 hours per week; Monday to Friday – 9am to 5pm.

Part-time is negotiable.

  • Dependability and a strong work ethic
  • A high degree of diplomacy
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite in particular Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Responsible and accountable with the ability to prioritise your workload
  • Possess the ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a consumer focus
  • Willingness to learn
  • Relatability and empathy for those in aged care living
  • Competence and experience in a range of administration tasks
  • Compliance with privacy and confidentiality principles
  • Current drivers’ licence
  • Willingness to undergo a National Criminal History check

The following experiences will be viewed favourably:

  • Rostering and/or payroll
  • Accounts payable and/or receivable
  • Previous knowledge of the Aged Care sector
