Your New Role:

As a Wind Turbine Technician at AGL’s North Brown wind farms, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and reliable operation of our wind turbines. Your responsibilities will include conducting scheduled servicing, repairs, inspections, and monitoring activities.

You’ll collaborate closely with a skilled team, including Service Technicians, HV Operators/Senior Technicians, a Lead Technician, dedicated Site Supervisor, and AGL’s support functions.

About You:

  • Hold a Mechanical or Electrical Trade qualification.
  • Have experience as a technician in wind farms operations and maintenance (preferred) or similar power generation/industrial sites.
  • Be willing to work at heights and in confined environments.
  • Hold a valid Driver’s license.
  • Be able to relocate to South Australia within an hour of the farm.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Performing scheduled maintenance servicing and repairs on wind turbines.
  • Conducting periodic inspections, monitoring, and reporting on asset condition.
  • Upholding the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental care.
  • Participating in shift start toolboxes, hazard identification, and proactive risk management activities.
