Eligibility: Primary producers that own or manage a primary production enterprise that is predominantly located within the Northern and Yorke Landscape Board region; and has received the majority (>50%) of income from primary production.
The On-Farm Dry Times Grants are designed to support the roll-out of sustainable agricultural practices for the longer-term viability of our region’s farms.
The full list of activities can be found in the Application Guidelines. They include:
- Installing new or repairing water infrastructure – pipes, pumps, irrigation, troughs and dams
- Constructing new or upgrading an existing stock containment area
- Accessing decision making tools – feed and soil tests, specialist dry times advice, soil moisture monitoring, weather stations, tank/trough monitors, telemetry sensor equipment
What is available?
The maximum funding (ex GST) available to primary producers depends on farm size.
Livestock and/or cropping enterprises: | Viticulture enterprises: |
Up to $3,000 for properties between 500-1000ha | Up to $1,000 for properties between 10-25ha |
Up to $5,000 for properties 1000ha+ | Up to $3,000 for properties between 25-75ha |
Up to $5,000 for properties 75ha+ |
