Eligibility: Have an Australian Business Number (ABN) or a recognised relationship with a legal entity (i.e., organisation or company with an ABN)
Project/programs must impact directly on communities throughout regional, rural and/or remote Australia.
Funds Raised by Ski For Life are available to assist communities, groups, and individuals to undertake projects which align with their mission: “to use conversations and community engagement to raise awareness of strategies that support good mental health, wellbeing and suicide prevention”
Examples:
- Mental health first aid training – the applicant is applying for funding to provide the training from an external provider, the applicant is not the business providing the training for a fee.
- Workshops, training, speakers specifically aimed at mental health, wellbeing and suicide prevention, delivered by not-for-profit organisations.
- Relevant resource materials for participants, catering during the project/program directly sourced for participants, cost of external speaker (fees, transport etc).
- Staff undertake training to directly assist clients/students/etc with mental health, wellbeing and suicide prevention. Does not include wages for staff, covers the cost of the training program being provided.
- Podcast promoting community mental health awareness, targeting a specific audience
