The Northern Areas Council, in partnership with Regional Development Australia Yorke and Mid North, invites community members, Golden North Ice Cream employees and business owners to attend a public forum following the recent announcement of Golden North’s relocation.

Location: Laura Civic Centre
The forum will provide an important opportunity for residents, businesses, and community groups to hear directly from Golden North representatives about the company’s plans over the next 12 months.
An update will also be provided by the Northern Areas Council Mayor, who will outline Council’s next steps and share information regarding funding commitments and future support for the region.
In addition, workforce support services will be on hand to share what assistance is available and to connect with those impacted by the transition.
Everyone in the community is encouraged to attend and contribute. A light supper will be provided.
This forum is part of a broader series of engagement activities designed to keep the community informed and involved throughout this period of change.
