Make a difference in your region
Regional Development Australia (RDA) is a national network of committees made up of community representatives who help drive economic growth, innovation and entrepreneurship in regions, by facilitating investment in people, places, services, industries and local economies. RDAs bridge regional development gaps by working with a broad range of stakeholders across sectors, and by supporting the delivery of the strategic priorities of Federal, State and local government.
RDA Yorke and Mid North is looking for a Chief Executive Officer to lead an innovative organisation committed to developing its region, working alongside our partners to progress the Yorke and Mid North region.
About the role
You will be responsible for assisting the Board to set the organisation’s strategic vision and objectives, leading a team of dedicated staff in achieving these objectives, and managing the day-to-day operations of the organisation.
You will facilitate meaningful engagement across the three levels of government to ensure investment delivers better outcomes for the region, and support business growth, skills development, and investment in infrastructure and service delivery.
The CEO will promote the region’s activities to government, industry, business and community sectors to highlight its competitive advantages.
As CEO, you will contribute relevant data and local intelligence to support the Australian Government’s evidence base, informing regional development strategies, program design and policy responses. You will also support regional stakeholders to pursue grant opportunities that advance strategic regional priorities.
